MicroNeedling is a facial treatment that uses a MicroNeedling device, its an electrical 'pen' which has tiny single use needles on the end. It is gently moved over the targeted area and produces tiny little micro-channels in the skin, to stimulate the skins natural healing cycle.

 

MicroNeedling was developed based on the same concept used with a manual  'Derma Roller' device, however this is a more targeted, customisable treatment which usually sees a downtime of just 12 hours. Please expect for your skin to be RED in colour when you leave the clinic, this is the result of blood rushing to the surface of the skin, it maybe anything from a slight flush of colour, of if you are a very pale skinned (like me!) you may look as if you have fallen asleep in the sun for 12 hours without sun protection! This is completely expected and will resolve on its own. Please Please PLEASE wear a quality SPF for at least 48hrs after treatment as your skin will be very sensitive to the harmful rays of daylight.
